Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar Distributes Monthly Sales Tax Revenue to Local Governments


Sales tax allocation comparison summary reports present data on monthly local sales and use tax payments to local jurisdictions.
 
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for January, 3.3 percent more than in January 2023.

These allocations are based on sales made in November by businesses that report tax monthly.
