Supreme Court Rules in 9-0 Decision: Trump to Remain on Colorado State Ballot

In an immediate reaction, Trump declares: 'BIG WIN FOR AMERICA! and called the ruling 'unifying' and 'inspirational'.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — The Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Monday that Donald Trump can stay on the election ballot in Colorado, rejecting a challenge from Colorado to his eligibility that threatened the presidential race by taking him off ballots around the nation.

It came as a fatal blow for states trying to eliminate Trump off the ballot and before 15 states casts votes on Super Tuesday.

The 9-0 decision by the conservative-majority court in the high-stakes case means the Republican frontrunner's name will appear on voting slips in the Colorado Republican primary tomorrow.

The court said that "the text of the Fourteenth Amendment, on its face, does not affirmatively delegate such a power to the States."

All the Justices opinions focused on legal issues, and none took a position on whether Mr. Trump had engaged in insurrection, as Colorado courts alleged.

In an immediate reaction Trump declared on his Truth Social network: 'BIG WIN FOR AMERICA! and called the ruling 'unifying' and 'inspirational'
