Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – (ARLINGTON VA) – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick spoke to the Council on National Policy yesterday prior to President Donald J. Trump’s speech to the organization this morning.
The Lt. Governor issued this statement following the President’s speech:
“President Trump today shared his vision for the next four years, laying out his record and his commitment to our American principles. He supports liberty and freedom, life, border security, law enforcement, the 2nd Amendment and lower taxes.
"His speech echoed his confidence and faith in America, and was a stark contrast to the 4 days of doom and despair that we just heard from the Democrats and Joe Biden.
"The choice for America has never been more clear.”
President Trump gave a shout out to Lt. Governor Patrick at the beginning of his speech and again later, citing him for his work in support of law enforcement in Texas.
The next stop on Lt. Governor Patrick’s itinerary is Charlotte, North Carolina where he will lead the Texas Delegation to the Republican National Convention. Patrick is also Chair of the Trump Texas Victory Campaign.
