GasBuddy is predicting that gas prices this coming Memorial Day Weekend will not only be higher than any other Memorial Day on record, but will be a full $1 per gallon more expensive than the previous Memorial Day record set in 2014, $3.99 per gallon. And, more and more analysts are predicting continued record prices at the pump, climbing above $6 a gallon by the end of the summer.

While the nation's attention is focused on Joe Biden's effort to fight back accusations of having caused record gas prices at the pump, in a State District Court in Houston a lawsuit between two oil & gas companies has the potential to increase energy costs further – and alter the way midstream companies like them operate in Texas.

The chances of Joe Biden winning the 2024 Democrat Nomination are not looking good. There's not a Democrat I talk to – and there are a bunch with ideologically-diverse views – that thinks he gets the nod in '24. They acknowledge he'll sink them in the mid-terms, and after being assigned the blame will be shoved aside in 2024. The most interesting part? This is being taken as a given by many Democrats.

“The record supports a showing of immediate and irreparable harm. The states contend that the termination of the Title 42 orders will result in increased costs and burdens, including increased healthcare costs. The Court concludes the record supports these allegations, and that the fact of those increased costs is sufficient to support injunctive relief."

While Americans are rightfully and understandably stressed about the rapidly increasing price of gasoline at the pump, those escalating prices are not due the reasons Joe Biden is telling us. The most significant cause is his policies related to the Oil & Gas Industry. These began on his first day in office, when he unilaterally canceled the permits for the partially constructed Keystone XL Pipeline.

Even Democrats from all across the nation are now complaining about Joe Biden's failure to control our border – with some 2 million poor, unvaccinated & untested illegal immigrants crossing the Southern Border last year. The bigger problem is that some experts estimate the numbers in this 2022 Election Year could climb to 6 million! So, what is a nation if it doesn’t control its own borders?

Since President Joe Biden took office on January 20th, 2021, newly released U.S. Customs & Border Patrol data now shows that Border Patrol Agents arrested a bone-chilling 42 individuals on our own nation's Terrorist Watchlist as they tried to enter the country illegally via a porous Southern Border in 2021.

Its what quiet panic looks like. Among a crucial group that Joe Biden won by 13% in 2020 – the Independent Voter – his "disapproval rating" is now 30% or more higher than his "approval" rating. And despite such mounting evidence, there's still internal debate within Democrat Party ranks as to whether its the party’s messaging, or its policies, that are pushing voters of all stripes away.

There are currently 10 states that voted one way for president in 2020, but have a governor from the other party in office. That means that this year’s most vulnerable incumbent governors are Democrats. So while Democrats may like to brag that they haven’t lost an incumbent governor's race since 2014, that streak is bound to be snapped this year – and Republicans are playing offense.

"With the end of Title 42 expulsions looming next month, Texas will immediately begin taking unprecedented action to do what no state has done in American history to secure our border," said Gov. Abbott. ​​​​​​​"The new strategies will further strengthen our already robust response to the Biden border disaster, and we will use any & all lawful powers to curtail the flow of drugs, illegal immigrants, weapons, and other contraband into Texas."

Since Operation Lone Star was launched by Gov. Abbott on March 6th, 2021 , more than 225,000 migrants have been apprehended, more than 13,027 criminal arrests have been made — with more than 10,400 Felony Charges — and over 3,500 weapons have been confiscated, almost $30 million in currency has been seized, and over 289 million lethal doses of the deadly drug fentanyl has been seized by DPS. That's just for starters.

“Inflation will mean that the average U.S. household has to spend an extra $433 more per month for the same consumption basket” of goods, wrote two Bloomberg economists after Thursday's announcement that a key measure of inflation accelerated at its fastest year-over-year rate in 40 years – since January 1982. Some economists believe inflation will likely worsen in the coming months.

While the undocumented immigrants being released have reportedly been processed with Background & Criminal Checks, the normal procedure of transporting them to facilities in Eagle Pass, Texas for housing is not possible due to lack of capacity there. As a result, "the federal government has instructed Local Border Patrol to start releasing these individuals," including at a Stripes Convenience Store in Uvalde, TX.

The Young Conservatives of Texas at the Univ. of North Texas recently wanted to hold an event entitled “Criminalize Child Transitions.” They drew a crowd of protesters, outsiders, whose tactics are certainly consistent with the violent group known as Antifa. At its base, that movement (yes, even in Texas,) is at war with free speech – defining the right to "free speech" itself as a tool of "oppression."

"Our analysis indicates that almost all of the attacks (of artillery, missiles and aircraft attacks,) have been in front of Russian Ground Troops to support ground operations. There's no 'strategic' air campaign that we can see," said one of the three senior U.S. officials quoted. Said another of the officers, ​​​​"No one in Russia is twisting into a pretzel to avoid civilian deaths. We're not yet even seeing the worst of it."
