Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – DEL RIO, TX – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) on Thursday visited the migrant camp at the International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas. As of Thursday morning, the camp had grown to 8,300 undocumented migrants waiting to be processed by Border Patrol at the bridge, most of whom had arrived just in the previous two days. Congressman Gonzales toured the camp and met with Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents to discuss the situation.

“I am at the southern border every week and this is worse than anything I have ever seen,” said Congressman Gonzales. “The Del Rio community and our border patrol agents are doing everything they can but they are at a breaking point. The only way this crisis ends is with a policy change from the White House.”
