Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – According to the Labor Department, inflation continued to skyrocket in September, as the consumer index price index (CPI) accelerated at the fastest pace in 13 years. While the White House Chief of Staff likes to say inflation and other economic problems facing Americans are "high-class problems," Middle Class Americans continue to deal with the fallout of President Biden’s disastrous economic policies and House Democrats' out-of-control spending.
In all aspects of everyday life, from the price of gas, utilities, bacon, eggs, milk, and more, Americans are paying more for just about everything.

Meeting with Local Farmers
Earlier this week I spent time with the Texas Farm Bureau and met with local farmers and ranchers. As we also recognized National Famers Day this week, it was an honor to hear directly from farmers on the issues most important to them including improving trade agreements, expanding broadband, and lowering taxes.
