Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – House Speaker John Boehner is putting forward a plan initially proposed by liberals like Nancy Pelosi and Charles Schumer, and daring them to oppose it now. Pass a bill in the House and send it over. No more Mr. Nice Guy. Let the Democrats obstruct it!
House Republican leaders pulled their “Plan B” effort from the floor Thursday night, with Speaker Boehner saying:
Play THEIR game against them.
Senate Democrats have declared Boehner’s “Plan B” dead on arrival, and the President has vowed (publically, not in good faith!,) to veto it should it pass. If he does, Boehner and House Republicans may be onto something with hopes the public will understand it is, in fact, Obama’s fault when everyone’s taxes go up on January 1st.
Meanwhile, the IRS is warning that millions of taxpayers may not be able to file their returns until late March. Worse, they may owe thousands of dollars in additional taxes if the alternative minimum tax is not adjusted.
With just 11 days left, the prospects for a deal to avoid going over the fiscal cliff seem as remote as ever.
MICHIGAN STATE REP DOUG GEISS: “There will be blood.” So now, cry-baby politicians are threatening violence in they don’t get thier way.
This is union thuggery taken to extreme.
RIGHT-TO-WORK. It’s all passed in Michigan. UNION THUGS ARE OUTRAGED. FOX News contributor Steven Crowder was popped pretty good by the thugs — got a chipped tooth.
Remember how this is different from Wisconsin. There, it was about diminishing public sector unions. In Michigan, it is about the freedom to work outwith being forced to join any union.
FOR MONTHS I HAVE BEEN WARNING YOU ABOUT DALLAS SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT MIKE MILES. This guy is bad news. Big spender. Cares more about big salaries for his cronies.
Now, after an investigator shows possible unethical actions, and behavior, on his part, Dallas trustees are openly tracking about removing him.
WHAT WILL THAT COST THE TAXPAYERS OF DALLAS? The School Board-Superintendent model for running schools should be blown up in favor of a school-manager or CEO model in which someone from he business world in brought in to run schools.
RICK PERRY ANGERS PLANNED PARENTHOOD by proposing 20-week limit on abortion. Naturally, PP files 2 new lawsuits.
