“I won’t call them monsters, because they would like that term.”
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. — “I won’t call them monsters, because they would like that term. I will call them, from now on, losers, because that’s what they are. They’re losers. And we’ll have more of them, but they’re losers. Just remember that,” said President Donald Trump.
“Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed.
“We cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people,” President Trump said Tuesday, standing side by side with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem.
The president offered his prayers to the people of Manchester, England, where a terrorist killed at least 22 people and injured dozens of others attending an Ariana Grande concert Monday night.
Trump called terrorists “evil losers”, and reaffirmed that the United States stands in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom.
“So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives, murdered by evil losers in life,” Trump said.
“And in today’s attack, it was mostly innocent children. The terrorists and extremists, and those who give them aid and comfort, must be driven out from our society forever.
“This wicked ideology must be obliterated – and I mean completely obliterated.
“This is what I’ve spent these last few days talking about. Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed. We cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people,” said Trump.
Trump called on “all civilized nations” to join together in protecting human life, “and the sacred right of our citizens to live in safety and peace.”
He thanked the Palestinians and Abbas for hosting him, and said he is “committed” to trying to achieve an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.
“President Abbas assures me that he’s ready to work toward that goal in good faith, and Prime Minister Netanyahu has promised the same. I look forward to working with these leaders toward a lasting peace.”
Trump also noted it “interesting” that his meeting with Abbas took place “on this very horrible morning of death to innocent young people. Peace can never take root in an environment where violence is tolerated, funded and even rewarded,” Trump said.
