Congressional Scorecard for 1st Session of 112th Congress Released by Americans for Prosperity
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas — Americans for Prosperity (AFP) – Texas director Peggy Venable today commended the six Texas Congressional members who rated highest on the AFP Scorecard. “These members who rated well on this important scorecard are defending the American dream and protecting Economic freedom,” said Venable.
Rating A-plus are: Congressmen Kenny Marchant & Randy Neugebauer
Members who rated an A are: Senator John Cornyn, Congressmen Joe Barton, Jeb Hensarling, and Ted Poe.
With 1.9 million members, over 110,000 in Texas, AFP is the premier free market grassroots organization committed to smaller government and free enterprise, it is important that citizens know how their Congressional members voted on the most important economic issues in the first session of the 112th Congress.
The scorecard included critical votes on such issues as the repeal of President Obama’s new health care law, preempting EPA’s purported authority to regulate greenhouse gases, Chairman Paul Ryan’s budget framework, ending ethanol subsidies, several Congressional Review Act resolutions of disapproval to overturn new regulations and the fiscal year 2012 appropriations bills.
“This was an important session of Congress because it was the first after dozens of conservative legislators from all across the country swept into office after the 2010 elections. This session was a response to the country roundly rejecting the unified so-called progressive style of governance that advocates more centralized decision making and fewer individual economic freedoms,” said AFP Director of Government Affairs James Valvo.
“Not surprisingly, there was a stark difference in performance between congressional Democrats and Republicans. While many important substantive and procedural reforms were passed in House, Democratic control of the Senate and poor free market voting patterns blocked nearly all of these much-needed changes.”
While five senators and 39 representatives received a perfect 100-percent score, one senator and 128 representatives received a score of zero, voting against AFP’s stated position on every vote.
All Members of Congress were given notice that AFP would be scoring a specific vote before the vote took place, as well as AFP’s policy rationale for supporting or opposing the vote. All votes are given equal weight in the scorecard; AFP also includes signature of theNoClimateTax.com <http://NoClimateTax.com> pledge in its congressional rankings.

The AFP site is terrible to navigate and the information obscure. I am certainly no computer guru, but I could not find who voted for, or against anything. How can one evaluate their grading, without definitive information? I’ll go with CW on this, as shilling for faux Conservatives seems to be in vogue, these days. Conservatives must be in the minority, of the GOP. The only true and consistent Conservative left in the Presidential Nomination process is Dr. Ron Paul. Pro-Life, Pro- Free Market Capitalism, Pro-Balenced Budget, Pro-Strong Defense, Pro-Guard Our Borders, Pro- Reduce Big Government,Pro-Eliminate Obummercare, Pro-Constitution. VOTE RON PAUL !

Dr Ron Paul is Libertarian.
Libertarian:

Anarchist:
Anarchy
“Anarchism… stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion; the liberation of the human body from the dominion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government.” — Emma Goldman
The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek ἄναρχος in which ἄν meant ‘without’ and αρχος meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. So an anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society. The history of attempts to create such a society in the modern era is the history of anarchism.

CW, Libertarians believe in liberty, not anarchy! Libertarians believe in the Constitution. Equating Libertarians to anarchists is like equating Baptists to Knights of Columbus… not even close. Please go back and closely read the Libertarian website that you posted, on this blogsite. Libertarians believe that the state exists for the sake of mankind and not that mankind exists for the sake of the state. Anarchist see no need for the state, at all. Huge difference, my Brother.
