John Culberson – Member of Congress
Over the next few months, I will be conducting live town hall meetings by telephone, and I hope you will participate if you are called. This new technology allows thousands of randomly selected District 7 residents to participate in a live, interactive conference call. It is a unique opportunity for me to contact you directly and hear your views on issues that are important to you.
Town hall meetings always help me do a better job representing you, and I enjoy being able to conduct an open conversation by phone while I am on the job in Washington. I need to hear your comments and concerns, and also to report on the work I am doing to strengthen our economy, fight crime in west Houston, stop illegal immigration, balance the federal budget, and finish construction of the Katy Freeway in six months.
Your questions and opinions are invaluable to me, as no one knows District 7 better than its residents. Your insight and suggestions are the best tools available to make me a more effective leader, and I hope this communication will make Washington seem a little closer to home, as well.
I have also scheduled local town hall meetings in May, and I encourage you to attend if you have the time. Please feel free to contact my staff in Houston or Washington with any questions. It is an honor and a privilege to represent you in the United States Congress.
