Gov. Perry Accepts Invitations to Debate Sen. Hutchison

kay-bailey-2perry-rickAUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today accepted an invitation from the Tarrant County and Denton County GOP to debate Senator Hutchison in Denton this fall.

Sen. Hutchison should join him so a date can be set for the debate. Gov. Perry has also accepted debate invitations from Belo Corporation and the Collin County GOP.

“With a 16-year Washington record of supporting record-setting debt, earmarks and bailouts, Sen. Hutchison has some explaining to do,” said Perry campaign spokesman Mark Miner.

“Texans want to hear concrete ideas on how to improve our state, not baseless criticism. We hope Sen. Hutchison will accept this opportunity to offer specific proposals and educate voters on how she intends to fund them.”

The Republican elites are at it again, trying to choose our candidate. They will not let Debra Medina join the debate.

Since they won’t allow Ms. Medina join this debate with them, can’t she call a debate with the two of them at another time? I, for one, would like to see that happen!

Ms. Medina if she goes grassroots and lays her card on the table……………….she does NOT need to join Perry and Hutchinson destroy each other.
Stop thinking you are playing on an even field. This is NOT going to be easy, BUT in a three way race
Surprises often happen………………….Jesse Ventura shook the state of Minnesota.

Medina is irrelevant. No, I take that back. She will take votes away from Gov. Goodhair and help Kay win the nomination and therefore the governorship.

Go Medina!!

I oould care less about “sodomy loving” Governor Perry and what he accepts to debate or take. We already know about what he allows in and how many taxes he has raised on us while he has been Governor. Enough!

Texas has faired better than other states throughout these down-times. I don’t see any reason to change what we have at this time. I agree, Medina will probably pull votes, and then, we will still have the good-ole-boy machine calling all the shots via K. Bailey. She has been a good player in Washington. Do we want that in Texas?

I absolutely want Kay and everything she has done in Washington for Texas here at home in Texas. I am a veteran in San Antonio. Keeping funding for Texas bases, check. San Antonio River projects, check, transportation projects, done. Conservative, absolutely. Contrast: Rick Perry: taxes increased, my ranch along 1604 and IH 35, almost gone for TTC, Democrats on the brink of majority in Texas House. Adios Rick Perry. I’ve had enough of your Boy Scout lovin (hint: I will kick your rear to Mexico if you come near my boys) get rich on the government dime toliet belonging garbage!

Seems like Ricky is having a ball for free. I should know, I used to work for him. I moved on and got a non-gvoernment job, then built my own business. Every cup of coffee for Rick was billed to the State, every drop of gasoline for his cars was paid for by taxpayers. He even raised taxes so that his pricey house rent could be paid for by taxpayers after he let the DPS sleep on the job and burn down the Mansion. Next thing you know he lied on his property homestead tax exemption. Time to put Ricky to pasture.

I would probably vote for Debra Medina if I thought she had a chance, but it is really a two person race, so I’ll vote for Kay. It takes more than a good head of hair to be an effective governor.

I can’t believe the vulgar mud-slinging. If you are even who you say you are, which I doubt, you need to be d—– sure these things are true. Even then, you shouldn’t be gutter-sniping. This is what radical progressives are doing all over the nation. It comes straight from Alinski’s manual for ACORN and other community organizers. If you really want K. Bailey to win, I don’t think you will help her by spreading vile gossip.

Don’t count the Denton GOP totally out just yet. Remember, Denton CO CD voted for Medina as our Vice Chair of the Republican party back last June.

I was unable to attend last night meeting, but I was told (not officially) that Republican Candidates would be invited.

I agree with Pat, this slander is unacceptable and its time to get serious about the issues at hand and stop the gossip.

I will never vote for K Bailey, her Washington record isn’t any better than McCains. She is pro-illegal amnesty, pro-government hand outs, etc. She is no CONSERVATIVE. Don’t agree w/everything Perry does, but Texas is in good shape compared to the nation and other states. Don’t know Medina, but all she will do is insure a K Bailey victory, which Texas does not need!

I can’t wait to reveal the photos we’ve got with the boy toys. The Enquirer has offered good dollar, but I am not in it for the money. Truth is what belongs to Texans and by God, they are gonna get the truth. Anna, as for toothpaste, butter and bread, let me put it this way, his top drawwer has toys I’d never let near my children.

I’m sorry Former Perry Staffer, if you ever were and which I doubt , but I think you are full of it.
You remind me of the far left radicals that are prevalent across this Nation that make up vile accusations against people. Much like the Blogger that attacked Sara Palin, you hide behind a phony name. If you can prove the garbage you are spreading, do it but why not out in the open. Take it too an established news organization not a rag like the National Enquirer that would print anything no matter how ridiculous.
As for Kay Bailey , AKA RINO Kay, it’s time for her retirement.

WAKE UP TEXAS: KAY BAILEY SPENT ALMOST 2 DECADES IN D.C. AND SHE NEVER ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING; SHE SUPPORTS ILLEGAL ALIENS; HER REPORT CARD IS DEGRADING,
A FAILURE; WHAT DO YOU THINK SHE WILL DO FOR TEXAS ???? NOTHING.
PERRY INCREASED TAXES < I AGREE ON THAT ; BUT DID NOT LINE UP WITH OBAMA , AND DID
NOT ACCEPT BRIBES FROM OBAMA TO SUPPORT THE SUPER HWY FROM MEXICO TO CANADA.
I BELIEVE KINKY FRIEDMAN IS MUCH MUCH BETTER ; AT LEAST IS HUMBLE; KAY IS DOUBLE TONGUE. WATCH FOR WHAT YOU WISH.

Talk is talk and photos are hard to dispute. I’ll wait for the pictures because the proof is in the pudding as they say. If they do have pictures, the opposition is going to wait until the last second to produce them because otherwise it would give the Conservatives a chance to find a better candidate to put up against KBH than Perry.

If there are pictures, the Conservatives in the know better find out first before running Perry any further down the road or as Clinton found out, the truth will NOT set you free. The truth, intead, HURTS. We need a good Conservative candidate, whether that is Perry or not. I still prefer Fred Thompson.

As for top drawer toys, I’d just assume lock the top drawer and worry more about the other drawers and whether they stayed on.

The latest telephone poll taken by the Texas Governor’s office asked whether people who live in Texas think illegal immigration is a serious problem:

29 % of respondents answered: “Yes, it is a serious problem.”
71% of respondents answered: “No es una problema seriosa.”

Kay B, Rick P, Kay B, Rick P…why can’t we get out of this mind set? Why not consider, and vote for a THIRD? Aren’t there any other choices out there??

Okay; I am as interested as everyone else is on the date and time of the debates?
However, I was not aware of the prospect of a third candidate; someone please fill me in on who Debra Medina is? Who, What, How, Where, When and Why? Reading everyones comments I was not aware of her existence………..even her intention or an idea she might be a better choice than what is already in the planning?

Since George went to the Big White House, the state has been on a roller coaster; and I am tending to lean toward Kay Bailey at the moment, unless another better selection throws their hat into the ring?
Squeaky like Ross, has good intentions, can this thrd option deliver the results the state needs so desperately?
